1757. A new, private, boarding school, Camden Academy was founded by Vincent Camden, a wealthy English statesman. Built on the lands that would soon become Cheshire, Connecticut. It was constructed then, as a lower [K-7] to higher[8-12] education for the rich young males, preparing them for a successful future. However, as the country changed, so did the school. In 1934, Camden accepted began accepting women into their campus, then it was transformed into a private High School, only offering grades 9-12 in the early 1870's.

Camden Academy is a coeducational non-denominational boarding school that provides a college preparatory education to students worldwide. Camden Academy prides itself on the family atmosphere that allows the school to provide a caring and supportive learning environment that meets the needs of individual students on a intellectual and social level. The serves a student body of diverse cultures, faith traditions, and abilities. As a school community, the students, faculty, and administration embrace and are strengthened by this diversity.

As a part of our mission, we provide an environment that minimizes outside distractions from the general culture. Our academic program seeks to train each student to think independently, read critically, and communicate clearly in an ever-changing and technologically complex society. Our extra-curricular and athletic programs seek to develop not only talents and social skills, but also a sense of community and fair play.

Overall, our mission is to provide a comprehensive program, challenging each student to reach out to his or her potential.

It is now 2007. The headmistress Olivia Camden, a strong-headed, determined woman, takes control over the Academy as her husband, Vincent Camden III died during the summer of 2004 of unnatural causes, which are still under investigation, discreetly. Their son, Payton Camden, along with his friends start their Junior year in oblivion to the harsh reality of what is really going on in the school.

Although Camden is a well organized school, that offers so many possibilities to the students that attend, it also has a dark past, and an even dark future if nothing is to be done.
