Lanie ourbed onto the familliar spot she always ourbed to when she was alone, the Golden Gate Bridge. Melanie was wearing a pair of faded blue jeans, a blue halter top with, studs all the way up the middle, and a pair of white tennis shoes. She had her long brown hair tied in a messy bun on the top of her head, for the wind was often strong up here. Oddly today it wasn't so Lanie pulled out a book to read, since she was all alone. Lanie was reading Romeo and Juliete, a book she read her freshman year, and now she had to read again her sophmore year of college. She didn't like it the first time and she sure as hell didn't like it this time. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
About an hour later Lanie had read only two chapters of the book so far, and she was almost asleep, so she put the book away. She pulled out a notebook, it was her notebook she used to write songs in. Though Lanie couldn't sing to save her life, she still loved writting songs. Just to her luck, her pencil broke, and she didn't bring a spare one, and on top of that she had major writters block. Lanie was getting lonelier by the minute, but she wasn't about to go home and sulk around. Instead she pulled out her i-pod to listen to, it always calmed her down, and kept her stress levels low. About ten minutes later Lanie was out like a light bulb, guess the music couldn't keep her awake very long.
